​​​FMIC's Vision Clinic conducted a Continuing Medical Education session on Highly Myopic Maculopathy

On May 29, 2018, FMIC hosted 23 physicians from governmental eyes hospitals, referral physicians from Jalalabad province and FMIC Vision Clinic Department, for a Continuing Medical Education (CME) session. 

The session breifed “Definition of High Myopia, explanation of Chorio-Retinal Atrophy: Diffuse or Patchy, Lacquer Craks, Macular Retinoschisis, and Dome-Shaped Maculopathy”. it was arranged by FMIC Marketing and Communications Department and presented by Prof. Dominique Chauvaud. During the presentations, participants asked questions and shared their opinions about the topics and sub-topics of the sessions. Governmental hospital physicians and referral doctors appreciated FMIC and La Chaîne de L'espoir for holding such useful sessions. 

​They stated their satisfaction and happiness about the conducted session and requested CDE and FMIC for arranging a session on “toxoplasmosis retinitis and retinopathy of prematurity” to be present in the future. Prof. Chauvaud accepted the topic suggestion and thanked the participants for their interest in education and continuing their medical education.
