Job summary

Ensuring timely preparation of vouchers and JVs. Coordinating with bank and other stakeholders for smooth operations. To operate the treasury function.

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate would be able to:

Coordinating the activities of monthly payroll processing and ensure that the salary of local and expatriate staff is transferred in their respective bank accounts in the stipulated time.

Ensuring that the tax calculation on payroll is correct and that it is timely deposited to the Da Afghanistan Bank.

Creating vendor for suppliers in PeopleSoft and coordinating with PSCMD in case of any quires.

Running pay cycle on daily basis to prepare cheques and bank transfer letters of payments related to suppliers, contractors and staff and ensuring that they are paid to the legitimate payees.

Obtaining bank statements on daily, monthly and quarterly basis of all the bank accounts and ensure their accuracy.

Preparing the monthly bank reconciliations of collection points and resolve any outstanding matter.

Taking part in monthly general ledger closing by preparing JVs and ensure that all the relevant transactions are recorded on time.

Ensuring to deliver various official documents to banks & government offices.

Any other assignment assigned by the Head of Department.​

Qualification and Requirements

Bachelor in Business Administration complete or in process.

Work experience

Three-year relevant experience is preferred.

Knowledge and Competencies

Good communication, interpersonal skills;

Ability to work under difficult working conditions;

Good computer skills, especially MS Office.
