On July 15, 2025, the FMIC organized a comprehensive session on family planning, attracting 60 community women eager to learn. The event was skillfully led by Dr. Wajiha Latifi, who covered a wide range of important topics.
Participants gained insights into family planning, including its objectives and various contraceptive methods. The session highlighted family planning counseling, the Combined Oral Contraceptive Pill (COC), its advantages, common complications, and contraindications. Dr. Latifi also provided guidance on the proper use of combination tablets, warning signs to be aware of, and discussed injectable procedures along with their timing and benefits.
To conclude the session, the FMIC team distributed
refreshments, fostering a sense of community and collaboration among attendees.
