On June 24, 2025, FMIC hosted a Continuing Medical Education (CME) session focused on Intrahepatic Cholestasis of Pregnancy (ICP) at Khair Khana 102 Bed Hospital. Dr. Mazari Aria, a Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynecology at FMIC, delivered an insightful presentation on the subject.

The event attracted the Khair Khana 102 bed Hospital Medical Director and approximately 30 medical professionals, including doctors, nurses, and midwives. Dr. Mazari covered a comprehensive range of topics related to ICP, including its introduction, characteristics, epidemiology, etiology, pathogenesis, history and physical examination, investigations, diagnosis, and differential diagnosis.

Further, the session addressed treatment and management strategies, antepartum management of ICP, and postpartum considerations. Dr. Mazari emphasized the significance of maternal bile acids and the potentially fatal complications associated with the condition, highlighting the importance of awareness and proper management in clinical practice.

At the conclusion, the Khair Khana 102 bed hospital management expressed their appreciation for FMIC's efforts in organizing such seminars and fostering a platform for knowledge exchange among healthcare professionals.​
