24/7 Emergency Medical Care for All Ages
The Emergency Care Services at FMIC are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, serving patients of all ages with all types of medical emergencies. Our goal is to provide comprehensive and compassionate emergency care that aligns with the level of medical urgency presented by the patient.
Multidisciplinary Emergency Care
FMIC's Emergency Department (ED) offers multiple specialties under one roof, enabling doctors from different disciplines to collaborate. This multidisciplinary approach ensures an effective continuum of patient care, enhancing treatment outcomes.
Emergency Department Facilities
Number of Beds: FMIC's Emergency Department is a 10-bed facility, including:
2 beds in the Resuscitation Room
4 beds in the Pediatric Block
3 beds in the Adult Block
1 bed with negative pressure isolation
Additional Facilities:
1 stretcher bed and 2 recliners in the Triage Area
Procedure Room for minor procedures such as dressing, infusion, ECG tracing, and plaster application
Expandable Capacity: The ED can accommodate 3 additional stretchers in the corridor during high patient influx
Our team treats both adults and children, working in close collaboration with other departments at FMIC to ensure the highest standards of emergency care and triage services.
