FMIC conducted a Health Awareness Session (HAS) titled “Danger Signs During Pregnancy

​On May 14, 2025, FMIC conducted a Health Awareness Session (HAS) titled “Danger Signs During Pregnancy." The event was attended by 78 community women, who engaged in discussions about critical health issues.

In this session, Dr. Zohal Hayati, an obstetrics, and gynecology resident at FMIC presented a range of important topics such as including abnormal bleeding, severe abdominal and back pain, decreased or absent fetal movement, severe vomiting and nausea, significant swelling in the hands, feet, and face, severe fever and chills, severe headaches, and vision problems. Dr. Hayati also explained the necessary laboratory tests that can help detect these danger signs during pregnancy.

This session aimed to empower local women with essential knowledge and resources to ensure safe and healthy pregnancies. At the conclusion, the FMIC team distributed refreshments to all participants, fostering a sense of community and collaboration among attendees.​
