High quality educational activities focusing on advances in medicine

​​As part of capacity building initiatives for health professionals of Afghanistan, a CME was conducted on Monday, August 25, 2014 at Endragandi Children Health Hospital.

The audience was briefed by FMIC Marketing and Communications department on FMIC healthcare services and its mission on capacity building for healthcare professionals as well as the community.

Afterwards,  presentations on Brachial Plexus Palsy by Dr Royeen Dehzad, Senior Orthopaedic Surgeon, FMIC and Vitamin D Deficiency and Rickets by Dr Mustafa Mihran, Resident Pathologist, FMIC were presented. The session was attended by more than 40 medical health professionals. A 120-minute discussion cum question and answer session followed the presentations.

This session offered a unique forum for healthcare professionals of Endragandi Hospital and was well received by the participants, who were appreciative of FMIC’s efforts and expressed their interest in continuing such sessions. ​
