​​Doctors at Shahr Ara Maternity Hospital benefit from a Continuing Medical Education (CME)

​The Marketing and Communications department, in collaboration with the general surgery department conducted a CME at  Shahr Ara Hospital on August 01, 2022, from 9:30 AM – 10:30 AM.

In a one-hour session, Dr Mujib Sakhi, FMIC general surgeon presented a comprehensive lecture on adnexal mass to 15 doctors from Obs& Gyn department. At the session, the medical team were briefed about adnexal mass signs, symptoms, and the different treatment methods. Most commonly, the tumours originate from the female reproductive system, but they can also grow in the urinary or digestive systems.

The management and participants from Shahr Ara Hospital appreciated the FMIC’s initiative in conducting the CME seminar and requested to arrange more sessions in the future. They also glorified Dr Mujib Sakhi for his comprehensive presentation and for sharing scientific information with all participants. 

FMIC is going to conduct more CME sessions in the future to enhance the knowledge and skills of health practitioners including doctors and nurses of different public hospitals in Kabul.
