March 15, 2026 – FMIC hosted a Continuing Education in Medicine (CEM) session titled “Ways to Prevent Stroke," led by Dr. Gull Ahmad Tahiry, Senior Medical Officer in Neurology Department. The event drew 15 participants from the local community and underscored FMIC's ongoing commitment to health awareness and professional education. The session commenced with a concise presentation by the marketing team, highlighting FMIC's latest services, milestones, and the Family Hifazat App.
The session covered a comprehensive range of topics, including brain anatomy and function, key brain facts, medical causes of stroke, habits that enhance brain performance, the six pillars of brain health, stroke definition and types, epidemiology, hemorrhagic stroke and its clinical presentation, risk factors (both modifiable and non‑modifiable), stroke management, and prevention strategies. Dr. Tahiry also discussed management approaches for hemorrhagic stroke and emphasized smoking cessation as a critical preventative measure.

among healthcare professionals to take proactive steps toward better brain
