April 22, 2026 — The FMIC successfully hosted a Continuing Medical Education (CME) session titled “The Role of Vaccines in Reducing Child Mortality," led by pediatrician Dr. Mujeebullah Mahboob.
The session drew a diverse audience of doctors and medical students from various universities, reflecting strong interest and active engagement from the healthcare community.
The program began with an introductory presentation by the Marketing Team, which highlighted FMIC's latest services, key achievements, and the launch of the Family Hifazat App.
Dr. Mahboob delivered a comprehensive and insightful presentation covering a broad range of topics, including the history of immunization globally and in Afghanistan, the immune system, vaccines, adverse events following immunization, and targeted disease prevention in Afghanistan. The session also addressed duty-based system exemptions, vaccine-preventable diseases, and vaccine effectiveness.
The event concluded with the distribution of
certificates to participants. Attendees expressed appreciation for FMIC’s
continued commitment to organizing informative seminars that foster knowledge
sharing among healthcare professionals and support efforts to improve public
health outcomes.
