Dr Nooria Alkozai conducted a session for the doctors and medical Students
The marketing and communications department, in
collaboration with the Dental department, conducted a continuing medical
education session at the FMIC on April 24, 2024. Dr Nooria Alkozai, FMIC
Dentist, and Dr Hedayatullah Nayab, Dental Assistant presented a comprehensive presentation on Oral and Dental Hygiene & Treatment of Diseases
Related to The Poor Oral Hygiene. A total of 57 doctors, along with
medical students from different universities, benefitted from the session.
During the session, participants were briefed about Importance of Hygiene
, Systemic Diseases Caused by Poor Oral Hygiene, Intra oral diseases Caused by
Poor Oral Hygiene, Dental Caries, Concept of Dental Caries, Treatment of Dental
Caries, Treatment of Periodontitis , Halitosis, Tips for Better Oral Hygiene
and Flossing.
The CME attendees posed many questions about the topic, which were responded by the presenters. Attendees thanked FMIC for organizing the CME and indicated their desire for similar sessions in the future.
FMIC plans to host more CME sessions in the future to increase the knowledge and abilities of health practitioners, including doctors and nurses, at Kabul's numerous hospitals.
