January 15, 2026 –Dr. Mohammad Shaheer, a neonatal medical officer at FMIC, led a successful health awareness session titled “Importance of Breastfeeding vs. Formula: The Power of Play with Your Infants." The event attracted 20 participants from the local community, highlighting the organization's commitment to maternal health education.
During the session, attendees engaged in discussions on a range of important topics, including exclusive breastfeeding, the significance of skin-to-skin contact, optimal breastfeeding positions, nutrition for breastfeeding mothers, and hydration in breastfed babies. Dr. Shaheer also provided insights into interactive games and suitable toys for infants aged 0-6 months, along with practical tips for new parents.
At the conclusion of the event, participants expressed
