March 8, 2026 – FMIC hosted a health awareness session titled “Ramadan and Stomach Health," led by Dr. Asadullah Akhtar, Consultant Gastroenterologist. The event attracted 23 participants from the local community, reflecting the organization's commitment to health awareness.
During the session, attendees engaged in discussions on a range of important topics, including the significance of maintaining stomach health during Ramadan, the effects of fasting on the digestive system, common stomach issues experienced during the month, their underlying causes, suitable foods for consumption, and healthy eating habits.
At the conclusion of the session, Dr. Akhtar provided
essential tips to prevent stomach problems, allowing participants to take
proactive measures during the fasting period. Attendees expressed their
appreciation for FMIC’s commitment to health awareness, highlighting the
crucial role these awareness sessions play in empowering local communities and
enhancing overall health outcomes.
