FMIC Marks National Tree Plantation Day The Eighth Tree Plantation Campaign in Neighboring Community

As part of the Community Engagement Programme (CEP), activates this time FMIC planted 200 trees in the neighbouring community during its eighth tree plantation campaign. The campaign was held on Wednesday, March 01, 2023.
The programme was attended by FMIC senior management and staff, the head of the adjacent community and administrative representatives from the 3rd district of the municipality, a representative of the environment and a representative from the Ministry of Agriculture and community representatives along with more than 60 community residents and the community committee members were participated in the tree plantation ceremony.
This is the seventh consecutive year that FMIC has organized a tree plantation campaign with the neighbouring community with the support of community committee members and adjacent community residents.
The ceremony also included speeches by guests on the importance of tree plantation. The guests and the community residents appreciated the FMIC efforts in this regard. The ceremony concluded with brief refreshments.
