The Radiology Department held a farewell party for Dr. Nasir Jaffer
The Radiology Department held a farewell party for Dr. Nasir Jaffer on May 27, 2024. Dr. Nasir is a professor at the Faculty of Medicine, Department of Medical Imaging, Division of Abdominal and GI Imaging, Mount Sinai University Health Network, and Women's College Hospital.
During his 20-day stay, Dr. Nasir conducted sessions on upper GI studies for residents and radiographers. He also worked with residents in reporting abdominal CT scan cases.
The Radiology Department commended Dr. Nasir's efforts and contributions toward assisting and guiding the department's residents and radiographers. He was presented with gifts in recognition of his work.
The PGME manager, Syed Sadat Hofiani, and the administrator of Quality and Patient Safety and Professional Health Services, Mr. Tawab Baryalai, also participated in the ceremony.
Dr. Nasir thanked the Radiology Department and residents, expressing his gratitude for a pleasant stay and an exciting experience.
The second part of the program was dedicated to appreciating residents for successfully completing the academic year with good scores.
