Our Fifth Tree Plantation Campaign
FMIC staff planted 550 trees in the neighbouring 3rd district during a recent campaign.

Staff and senior management at the FMIC partnered with community representatives from Kabul’s 3rd district on a tree plantation campaign aimed at beautifying the neighbourhood. This is the fifth year in a row that FMIC is organising the tree plantation campaign. The ceremony included speeches by guests on importance of greenery, trees and tree plantation.
The programme was attended the administrative representatives from 3rd district, representatives from 3rd district police, local heads of security and horticulture, representatives from the FMIC senior management and staff, and more than 60 community residents and community committee members. At the end of the campaign, guests and community residents appreciated the FMIC's efforts and encouraged staff to continue to arrange similar activities for the betterment of the local community.
