Your Hospital Bill
Upon discharge, FMIC will issue all patients a hospital bill covering room and board charges including meals, nursing care and housekeeping. You will receive your hospital bills by courier, although in some cases they will be hand-delivered to you by our Credit Officer.
Special Services Bills
In addition to the hospital bill, you may receive separate bills for other services.
For operating and recovery room use.
From visiting consultants or physicians.
From specialists, such as pathologists or radiologists who conduct tests or interpret results.
Payment Options
Self-paying Patients
Once you have received your final bills, you can make your payment through cash, major credit cards or a cheque (subject to prior approval by the Patient Business Services Department).
Corporate Patients
All corporate patients must provide their job card or a signed letter from their employer confirming their employment status. Corporate patients do not have to pay FMIC. FMIC bills companies directly, on a monthly basis.
Financial Assistance
FMIC is dedicated to making quality healthcare accessible to all. Our Patient Welfare Programme provides financial assistance to patients who cannot afford the medical care they need.
