The Adult Cardiac Service at FMIC offers the most advanced and comprehensive cardio-vascular care across the country.
Our team of cardiologists, interventional cardiologist , residents, registered nurses and Cath-Lab nurses, technicians and staff members work together to deliver specialized and individualized care for our patients suffering from heart disease and disorders.
Our cardiac services include primary prevention, diagnostic (laboratory testing, , echo-cardiography, ETT, Holter monitoring and clinical imaging) to interventional (cardiac catheterization, primary angioplasty), surgical (coronary artery, surgery of aorta, surgery of valvular disease, post infarctus surgery, asd, vsd, tof and congenital valvular disease and vascular surgery) and rehabilitation options. This is a world class centre in Afghanistan helping in the better diagnosis and treatment of cardiac diseases.
