Job Summary

The incumbent will develop strategic marketing plans for FMIC in line with the overall organizational goals and objectives and then oversee the implementation and execution of the various efforts associated with the marketing plan. This will include but not limited to, evaluating the results of various marketing campaigns, spearheading market research efforts, and coordinating initiatives across a variety of channels.

Responsibilities

  • Build marketing programs to support specific marketing objectives across different channels and segments in support of overall FMIC strategic marketing plan
  • Enhance the portfolio of clients by engaging with potential corporate clients
  • Market through various channels and manage databases with up-to-date analytics
  • Develop business cases for marketing programs, develop pragmatic marketing proposals and make recommendations on marketing tactics
  • Evaluate the impact of marketing programs in achieving their stated objectives, including impact on lead flow, and service delivery
  • Propose and manage marketing research projects to generate consumer insights in support of improved marketing strategy and communications
  • Partner with creative teams, other internal stakeholders, and external agencies and vendors
  • Lead the execution of marketing programs from start to finish, driving collaboration with the stakeholders and leveraging the right internal processes
  • Work with the marketing teams, other internal stakeholders, and external agencies and vendors to achieve the set goals

Qualifications and Requirements

University degree—preferably an MBA or other relevant Master's Degree from a recognized University

 

Work Experience

A minimum of 5 years progressively responsible experience in the areas of Marketing, Public Relations or Communications.

Knowledge and Competencies

  • Experience building effective marketing programs and reporting on the results
  • Exposure to digital and direct response marketing
  • Competence as a creative writer with an eye for great emails and landing pages
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong problem-solving ability, including metrics-driven thinking
  • Demonstrated skills in planning, management and rapport building
  • Excellent design skills especially in InDesign, Photoshop and CorelDraw
  • Ability to work under pressure in a team-oriented environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, Dari and Pashto
