Recruitment of Doctors for Neurology Residency Program at FMIC

The French Medical Institute for Mothers and Children (FMIC) has been running various residency and sub-specialty programs since 2012 with the approval of the Ministry of Public Health and technical collaboration with Aga Khan University, Karachi. So far, 92 skilled specialists have been introduced to the community.

For the year 2026, FMIC officially launches the Neurology Residency Program with the approval of the Ministry of Public Health and will accept trainees/residents. This is a 3-year program.

Eligibility Criteria for Application:

Applicants must meet one of the following conditions:

  • Specialist in Internal Medicine
  • Specialist in Family Medicine
  • Third- and fourth-year Internal Medicine residents

Registration Date: 11/12/2025
Deadline for Registration: 26/12/2025

Required Documents to Submit with Application:

  • Curriculum Vitae
  • MD Degree Certificate
  • Copy of Specialty Certificate
  • For residents: Verified document from the Ministry of Public Health or Ministry of Higher Education confirming third- or fourth-year Internal Medicine residency
  • Copy of National ID or Passport
  • One soft copy photo (size 3×4)

Exam Date: Only shortlisted candidates will be informed via phone and/or email.

Examinations: Eligible applicants must pass two exams:

  • Written exam covering Internal Medicine and Neurology subjects (70% of the score)
  • Oral exam or interview (30% of the score)

All exams will be conducted at FMIC in the presence of the Residency Program Committee.
